Adalaire (Ada) Blue is a freelance artist from Virginia. The pseudonym "Adalaire Blue", is a combination of her name and love of blue butterflies. She has won multiple academic and artist awards, and has had her work displayed in local galleries within the Shenandoah Valley. Currently, Ada actively sells her abstract paintings, digital illustrations, and other artworks online and at craft fairs. She frequently posts on her Instagram page showing her latest art endeavors and pet cats. 

My work takes inspiration from nature, childhood memories, and my own fictional stories. I am disciplined in a variety of artistic mediums, to name a few: traditional painting and drawing techniques and digital illustration. Whether through abstract compositions, drawing  colorful characters, and other illustrated worlds, what I aim to achieve through art is a connection and open dialogue with others.
